Mememe beat the blues highlight in pearl pink (benefit dupe)

Benefits high beam highlighter is one of the best highlighters around but doesn't come cheap. So when shopping a few months ago I couldn't believe my luck when i spotted this in superdrug & managed to pick this up for £6!!
At first I thought it wouldn't be that good, as you do with all dupes. But, I am really pleasantly surprised and really do love this product.
The packaging is standard, it's quite similar to high beam and the product inside is so creamy and velvety it goes on a dream. The only thing I don't like is the brush inside is very stiff almost like wood! (Could just be mine though).

I don't tend to put these liquid highlighters on my cheek bones, I just use them either mixed in with my foundation or on my brow bone & cupids bow. As all highlights it has a lot of shimmer and when the light picks it up, it truly does look amazing. Needless to say, I will be repurchasing!

Latest in Beauty little beauty box

I am a big lover of samples and travel sized beauty products, as you basically get to try before you buy. I have been subscribed to Glossybox for a while now but wanted to try more beauty boxes without spending as much money.
So when I came across this on the Latest in Beauty website I couldn't resist.
It's not anywhere near as good as Glossybox but I still jump around like a loon when it drops through my letterbox.

With this beauty box you don't pay by card either. You pay by SMS!
It's £1.50 plus your standard network rate. You choose the items too. This isn't my first one but I think this is my favourite one. I chose the Melvita soft skin moisturiser, Caudalie The Cream and The Eye Cream & a mystery product which turnt out to be a tube of Aveda thickening conditioner.
All the products are sample size and if you have a partner they have men's products available too!

You can get yours at www.latestinbeauty.co.uk

Sleek Makeup Blush in Flamingo

I'm such a hoarder when it comes to blushers. So when I received this blusher in my glossybox I couldn't wait to try it.

I love sleek blushes and was surprised to have not seen this one before. It's a stunning hot pink and is so pigmented its unreal. You literally need the tiniest amount on your brush and even sometimes that can be too much. But once it's on it really adds a nice pop of colour to your cheeks and for once, I didn't contour at all.
For me it's the perfect blusher this spring/summer.

Do you like Sleeks blushers?

April Glossybox!

Ok. This has to be my most favourite glossybox to date!
It has been designed by the singer/songwriter turned designer Pearl Lowe and the box is this gorgeous peach colour with white & black flowers. I'm definitely keeping this one!
If your not sure, glossybox is a monthly subscription service and for £12.95 a month you get 5-6 luxury beauty products, ranging from sample/travel size to full size & a lot of the time you get promo codes too. You submit your details on the website and each month, whatever is in your box is a complete surprise and has been matched to your specifics.
So, the box.
Inside mine, I got:
Full size A-Derma intense repair lip balm worth £7.95
5ml bottle of Yves Rocher So Elixir Purple perfume
50ml tub of Nip+Fab dry skin fix body butter in mango smoothie
Full size Essie nail lacquer in rosebowl worth £7.99
Full size Sleek makeup blush in flamingo worth £4.49

Overall I am so impressed with this month and for once can see myself using every item! Once used, I will be reviewing the items separately.

What did you get in your glossybox?

MUA £1 nail polish

I'm having a bit of a nail day today, can you tell? Ha!

Sooooo, as you all probably know, MUA sells £1 nail polish and they are excellent! I have every colour because at that price you can afford to and there isn't really that many shades.
But it wasn't until yesterday that I noticed they have changed the packaging, and they look the same as Essie! If you look at the bottom picture I have one next to an Essie.
I only picked two up as they were new shades and the only ones in the bottles.
The formula is still the same though and if I'm honest I love them more!

What do you think of the 'Big' change?
